Rudnick/DSP&P-5 says, “ ... the June 21, 1880 edition of the [Denver Daily] Times ... noted that the [South Park] had just received some passenger cars from Pullman ... ” Since the South Park seems to have followed the practice of numbering each car in the order received, and the Pullman coaches were numbered #18 - 21, this would mean #26 couldn’t have been received until after June 21, 1980.
