Passenger Cars of the Colorado Central |
The Colorado & Southern Railroad began in 1899 as the consolidation of two bankrupt railroads, the Union Pacific, Denver & Gulf and the Denver, Leadville & Gunnison. The Denver, Leadville & Gunnison was the reorganization of the bankrupt Denver, South Park & Pacific, while the Union Pacific, Denver & Gulf was the reorganization of the Colorado Central. It is the purpose of these pages to tell the story of the passenger cars of the Colorado Central Railroad. |
