Coaches #19 & #20
|
(2) Colorado Central coach #188 (former #20) on the Georgetown Loop High Bridge sometime between 1885 and 1890. (Ken Martin Collection) |
Coaches #19 and #20 were out-shopped by the Union Pacific in October 1884. They were the last cars built by the Union Pacific for the Colorado Central. When the Union Pacific renumbered in 1885, they became coaches #187 and #188, numbers they kept under the Union Pacific, Denver & Gulf reorganization.
When the Colorado & Southern took over in 1899, they became C&S coaches #166 and #167. And when the C&S renumbered in 1906, they became C&S #82 and #83. They were dismantled October 1929.
