Root Beer Float Flyer

A Refreshing Root Beer Train Ride.

Enjoy an ice-cold root beer float on this summertime train! Embark on a 1-hour roundtrip evening ride through rural Sauk County, departing Mid-Continent Railway Museum’s North Freedom depot at 5:00 PM.

Our volunteers are excited to offer this one-day-only event featuring root beer floats served aboard Mid-Continent’s 1914-era historic coach cars.

Museum admission is included! Before or after the ride, explore Mid-Continent’s train yard and display buildings housing dozens of restored railcars, locomotives, and other railroad exhibits, and don’t forget to stop in the Depot Gift Shop!
